I like the sound of all your itineraries, especially nightbaking and podcasts and bike and the beach. I have a new ‘boyfriend goes out and I have a bath and do yoga’ itinerary which is my current favourite and which i would recommend for stressful weekday nights. xxx

I don’t believe in omens, though I love to point them out as if I do. Jesse’s father believes in Synchronicities and dapples with the idea of collective unconsciousness. Daily, I pick out tiny coincidences like I’m playing I spy- but if I find meaning in any of it I try to laugh it off… “making meaning out of nothing again… ha! silly Allyson.” But there are times when it’s too hard to brush off and forget, and reading about Giles just made me tear up… so damn it Janet, get rock out of NY.

I love the photos. I had not considered not seeing the sky but that would drive me nuts.

The rock pier looks so familiar. It is almost beach season and I am so ready. I can see where it would be even more necessary for you!

I can see that as a day of recharging. I would wnat to stay there longer than a day I think though. As usual great pics!

All kind of Frost running through my head at these.

I don’t have an itinerary I choose much. I haven’t really enjoyed the ones I’ve had. All chores all the time.

Oh Truly! I’m so glad I found your blog again, and so glad that you’ve recently posted Bryony and I were talking about you guys the other day and saying how much we miss you, and how silly we are not to keep in better contact.
Your post was fabulous and so were the photos. I’ll have to visit you one day, I truly must (no pun intended).
Things in Glasgow are good, I’m translating a children’s book and more stuff for Icelandic telly, as well as doing another master’s degree – this time in Translation Studies. Tired of the winter though; the rain and the greyness is making me want to run away to a tropical island.
